KERNEL

The Kernel is the transactional monitor of the system, which is a specialized component in the processing of transactions from all COBIS modules, and processes the transactions from other applications as well.

Manages security, including the use of 3DES. Keeps a transactions log, which can archived and/or stored in the database. Manages the connections pool in the database. Communication with the agencies and other systems through TCP/IP and X25 communication protocols. Distributes data: electronic signatures, security data, data catalogue, and others. Option to reenter transactions. Sending and receiving of transactional messages. High availability through optimal use of operating system components.
