1953 - Predassi and Company is establishedas the representation of the NCR Corporation.

1956 - Richard Moss H. is established as the exclusive representative of NCR in Ecuador. The society changes its name to Commerce Machines S.A (cobiscorp) with offices in Quito and Guayaquil.

1972 - cobiscorp enters the digital era, selling the first NCR computer in Ecuador to La International.

1974 - cobiscorp develops LABIS (Latin America Banking information System) a banking computer science solution based in NCR technology, which is acquired by more than 50% of Ecuadorian banking and banks of 4 other countries.

1990 - In response to the advent of open software systems, we developed and launched to the market, the first version of COBIS (Cooperative Open Banking Information System) as the banking solution for Latin America.

2004 - cobiscorp merges with MicroBanx to create Cobiscorp.

2008 - Celebration of the 55th year of the institution, in which we also renew the institutional image, we changed our offices to a new space and the commercial name of Cobiscorp was created.

2009 - Cobiscorp reaches a new peak by obtaining the ISO 9001 2000 certification.

2010 - Cobiscorp’s presence extends to Africa and Japan through its COBIS Payment System

2011 - Cobiscorp is included for the second consecutive year in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Core Banking; it is the only Latin American vendor included in this ranking.
